  6. Installation of Perma Base, durarock, or applicable concrete composite backer board if applicable.
  7. Installation of primed white shoe mold.
  8. Removal and Disposal of all job related debris.
  9. Grout sealing is optional as it typically requires an additional trip.

Hardwood FAQS:

  • Hardwood is typically 3/4 of an inch thick. It is typically nailed to a subfloor that is atleast 3/4 of an inch thick.
  • Engineered Wood is a 3 to 5 ply composite of hardwood and engineered or pressed wood. It is typically glued or stapled depending on where the product is to be installed.
  • Laminate is sometimes referred to as Pergo. Pergo is actually a brand name and not the name of the product itself; Pergo is laminate. This product is a man made highly moisture and scratch resistant product that is usually installed using a locking system. It is installed in a "floating" manner on top of a thin underlayment and held in place using shoe mold.
